45 North Aviation would like our clients to know that we take seriously, the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was declared a pandemic last week. Please know that we are closely monitoring this situation and have taken precautions to ensure healthy flights on all of our aircraft. The safety of our clients and employees are our top priority.
We are currently maintaining our usual business hours and operations. We will continue to keep abreast of developments as they occur and will adjust our operations, if needed, based on guidance from local governing health authorities. Below is an update on our protective measures.
You should have confidence when booking your flight, that the 45 North Team is doing everything we can to have our aircraft clean, sanitized and ready for you. We are monitoring the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health agencies for the latest protocols related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. CDC travel guidance is available here.
Before you travel, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection — by washing your hands with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer, maintaining distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth. In addition, we have outfitted each aircraft with a supply of masks, nitrile gloves (in various sizes) and hand sanitizer for your use before, during and after your flight.
We recognize that the COVID-19 virus has required all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities. Our crew are staying up to date on the current “safe practices” and working to ensure that they adhere to the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to cover everything from handwashing, enhanced hygiene and aircraft sanitizing procedures.
We understand that flying may not be in your plans right now, but whether you are traveling now or in the future, we want you to know that your safety and health will continue to be 45 North Aviation's first priority.
Our thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments who are on the front line working to contain this virus.
Thank you for putting your trust in 45 North Aviation as you plan for future travels.
